Major General Olivier Mira Armstrong is the primary heir to the Armstrong family, and the older sister of Alex Louis Armstrong as well as the commanding officer of Fort Briggs charged with the protection of Amestris' northern border. She does not come into the story until later but Major General Armstrong becomes an essential part in the story helping the brothers in their fight against the homunculi and their quest to restore their bodies.
